The MVIS CryptoCompare Top 100 Index has dropped 1.14% in the last 24 hours to 4,146.56
According to a new report, South Korea’s ban on Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) could be eased in the coming months. The report from the Korea Times suggests that the ban may be lifted in part, specifically for token sales that meet specified conditions. An anonymous source stated:
“The financial authorities have been talking to the country's tax agency, justice ministry, and other relevant government offices about a plan to allow ICOs in Korea when certain conditions are met.”
According to a cease-and-desist order released on March 9, cloud mining service Genesis Mining has to put an end to its operation in the state of South Carolina. The Securities Commission of South Carolina alleged that Swiss Gold Global acted as a broker-dealer for Genesis, but that it hadn’t registered in the state to offer securities.

Almost every coin from the top 10 coins by 24-hour volume showed a negative change, ranging from 2.65 to 6%, in the last 24 hours. The only exception was Nucleus Vision ($0.04) that posted a gain of 30.23% and had a total volume of 428M, in the last 24 hours.
Ripple ($0.78) and Ethereum Classic ($20.58) showed a loss of around 2.8%, while Huobi Token ($1.64) and EOS ($5.78) posted a loss of 4.64% and 3.83% respectively. Tronix was the coin that recorded the biggest loss (-6%), and is currently sitting at $0.036 with a total volume of $174M.
BTC
At the time of writing, the Bitcoin price is sitting at $9,218 representing a loss of 3.43% in the last 24 hours. More than $1.5 B worth of BTC were exchanged in the BTC/USD market representing a 26% share of global daily volume. The BTC/JPY pair represents the biggest pair with a 50.5% share.
ETH
The Ethereum price posted a loss of 3.38% over the past 24 hours and is currently sitting at $700, with over $210M worth of Ether exchanged in the past 24 hours on the ETH/USD pair, which has a 28.6% market share of the global daily trading volume. The ETH/BTC pair represents the biggest pair with a 40% share.
LTC
The Litecoin price has dropped 4.69% over the past 24 hours and is currently sitting at $177, with more than $132M worth of LTC exchanged in the past 24 hours on the LTC/USD pair, the biggest pair, which has a 34% market share of the global daily trading volume.
BCH
At the time of writing, the Bitcoin Cash price is sitting at $1,041 representing a loss of 5.87% in the last 24 hours. More than $55M worth of BCH were exchanged in the BCH/USD market representing a 21% share of global daily volume. The BCH/BTC pair represents the biggest pair with a 48% share.
