National Football League (NFL) player Brandon King has doubled down on his support for Shiba Inu ($SHIB) by saying he is buying more of the coin following the latest price dip.

King, who is a linebacker for the New England Patriots, went to Twitter to vouch his support for $SHIB, despite the ERC-20 token falling nearly 37% from its all-time high price on October 28.

King had previously tweeted toward the end of October “Buy the dip $SHIB” and “Buy more $SHIB,” following the last price high.

$SHIB, which has managed to garner a massive social media presence and internet following, watched its price fall despite news of more exchange listings. A petition on Change.org has over 500,000 signatures asking Robinhood to list the crypto asset.

The popular dog meme token also gained headlines at the end of October when NASCAR driver Keith McGee, the first Alaskan native and disabled veteran to start a race, woke up to find $181 million SHIB in his account. McGee tweeted about the unexpected event, asking the exchange that he would “like to return it.”
