At 16:35 UTC on Monday (April 5), on crypto exchange Bitstamp, the XRP price reached an intraday high of $0.87400. This is the highest price XRP has seen in 1,065 days.

According to data by TradingView, currently (as of 19:00 UTC on April 5), XRP is trading around $0.82452, which means that in the past 24-hour period, the XRP price has gone up 35.37%. This makes XRP today’s best-performing cryptoasset among the top 40 cryptoassets by market cap. As for the year-to-date (YTD) period, the XRP price has gone up over 275.25% vs USD.

Interestingly, since 20 December 2020, the day before Ripple Labs CEO Brad Garlinghouse said that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intended to bring a lawsuit against the FinTech firm, the XRP price has increased by over 44.76%.
