Billionaire investor Mike Novogratz expects the price of bitcoin to reach $12,000 in 2020 once the market recovers from its current price slump.
Novogratz, who is co-founder of the cryptocurrency financial firm Galaxy Digital, published a series of 2020 predictions to Twitter on Dec. 28.
According to Novogratz, in addition to Donald Trump losing the US election by “more than 10mm votes,” bitcoin will finish the year trading above $12,000. He also expects the U.S. wrestling team to take gold in the Tokyo Olympics and Tom Hanks to win an Oscar for his role as Mr. Rogers.

The majority of replies to the tweet centered around Novogratz’s assertion that the current U.S. president will lose his bid for re-election in November 2020. Twitter user Wenmoon went so far as to bet 1 ETH that Trump would be re-elected, telling Novogratz that his prediction was “out of touch.”
