Cryptocurrency exchange Bitpanda, which has been on the market since 2014, is now allowing users to send money and pay bills through their existing accounts.

According to an official blog post published Oct. 16, users will now have the option of paying bills via Bitpanda’s crypto platform, in addition to sending money to any International Bank Account Number (IBAN) in the European Union. Both features work directly through a user’s Bitpanda account.

The blog post says the new money-send feature will provide users with a faster and more convenient method of transfer to any IBAN in the European Union by leveraging a “user-friendly” interface. The service is being provided by Bitpanda Payments, which operates as a licensed subsidiary of the Bitpanda brokerage firm. According to the post, Bitpanda Payments is a registered Payment Service Provider under the European Regulation PSD2.

Bitpanda, which claims to be Europe’s leading retail broker for buying and selling cryptocurrencies, also announced the scheduled release of their iOS application for November 2019.
