tZERO, a blockchain providing subsidiary of popular cryptocurrency-friendly retailer Overstock, has released a cryptocurrency wallet and exchange application for Android devices.

According to a press release, the app is now available on Google’s Play Store, and is similar to the one tZERO launched for iOS devices, but includes additional features such as widgets, tutorials, and a customizable user interface.

The app for devices running the Android operative system lets users buy, sell, hold, receive, and send two cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin and Ethereum. In the future, the company is planning to add more cryptocurrencies to its selection. The app’s features also let users set biometric authentication for added security.

Saum Noursalehi, the CEO of tZERO, was quoted as saying:

We are excited to bring our platform to Android users, which we believe will significantly expand our user-base. The accessibility of the tZERO Crypto App is critical in our plan to provide an intuitive trading experience for all digital assets.

In the future the firm is planning to add a private key recovery system that’ll allow its users to restore their cryptocurrencies even if they lose their mobile device or their private keys. tZERO’s trading platform itself opened n late January, and was funded with a month-long token sale that raised #134 million.

The company has been adding its headcount as it’s looking to strengthen a broker-dealer arm it’s set to launch in the near future.
