The MVIS CryptoCompare Top 100 Index has dropped 1.54% in the last 24 hours to 5,100.10
Last month, Las Vegas-based cryptocurrency exchange Bittrex, published its new terms of service, which are expected to come into effect on the 9th of March. The new terms of service will forbid citizens or residents of any state, country, territory or other jurisdiction that is embargoed by the United States from accessing Bittrex’s trading services. On the whole the markets are up and appear to be stabilizing above 5000 on the MVIS CryptoCompare Index.
Top 10
The majority of the top 10 coins by 24-hour volume showed a positive change, ranging from 1.97 to 16.98%, in the last 24 hours. ETC (-4.33% at $29.16), Tronix (-2.61% at $0.047) and NEO (-1.79% at $117) were the only coins of the top 10 coins that posted a loss in the last 24-hours.
Litecoin ($215) and Bitcoin Cash ($1,282) posted a gain of around 3%, while Monero showed a positive change of 6.97%. EOS ($8.17) also showed a positive change of 4.74%.
BTC
At the time of writing, the Bitcoin price is sitting at $11.501 representing a gain of 3.02% in the last 24 hours. More than $700 M worth of BTC were exchanged in the BTC/USD market representing a 16% share of global daily volume. The BTC/JPY pair represents the biggest pair with a 52% share.
XRP
Ripple recently partnered with Cambridge Global Payments a leading global provider of commercial payment solutions to launch a pilot program to use XRP in cross-border payment flows through xRapid.
The Ripple price has risen 16.98% over the past 24 hours and is currently sitting at $1.05, with more than $200 M worth of XRP exchanged in the past 24 hours on the XRP/USD pair which has a 21% market share of the global daily trading volume. The largest Ripple pair is XRP/KRW with a 33% share.
ETH
The Ethereum price posted a gain of 1.97% over the past 24 hours and is currently sitting at $864, with over $90M worth of Ether exchanged in the past 24 hours on the ETH/USD pair which has a 14% market share of the global daily trading volume. The largest Ethereum pair was ETH/BTC with a 50% share.
ETC
The Ethereum Classic price has dropped 4.33% over the past 24 hours and is currently sitting at $29.16, with more than $35M worth of ETC exchanged in the past 24 hours on the ETC/USD pair which has a 10% market share of the global daily trading volume. The largest Ethereum Classic pair is ETC/BTC with a 40% share.
